1 Overview
At VidyaRank, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase of courses, test series, and subscription plans. This Refund Policy sets out the circumstances under which a refund may be requested, the process for doing so, and the applicable timelines. This Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
2 Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a refund in the following situations:
- Technical failure โ the paid course, test, or feature was inaccessible due to a technical issue on our end, and the issue could not be resolved within a reasonable time.
- Duplicate payment โ you were charged more than once for the same order due to a payment gateway or system error.
- Incorrect billing โ you were charged an amount different from the price displayed at the time of purchase.
- Within cooling-off window โ for most paid courses and subscriptions, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not substantially accessed or consumed the course content (video lectures, test attempts, or downloadable material).
3 Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally not eligible for a refund:
- Courses, test series, or content where more than a reasonable portion has already been accessed, viewed, downloaded, or attempted.
- Purchases made outside the 7-day cooling-off window, unless covered under "Technical Failure" or "Duplicate Payment" above.
- One-time examination or mock test attempt fees, once the test has been started or submitted.
- Promotional, discounted, or bundled offers explicitly marked as "non-refundable" at the time of purchase.
- Fees paid directly to a coaching institute, school, or college that uses VidyaRank's platform, which are governed by that institution's own refund policy.
4 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact our support team with your order/transaction ID, registered mobile number or email, and the reason for your request:
- Email us at info@vidyarank.com with the subject line "Refund Request".
- Call us at +91 91550 31859 during business hours.
- Or use our Contact Us form and select "Billing & Subscription" as the subject.
5 Refund Timeline
Once a refund request is received, we will review and respond within 3โ5 business days. If approved, the refund amount will be credited to your original payment method within 7โ10 business days, subject to processing timelines of your bank or payment provider, which are outside VidyaRank's control.
6 Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel an active subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation will stop future renewal charges; however, it does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period unless the cancellation falls within the eligibility criteria described in Section 2.
7 Institute & Bulk Registrations
For bulk student registrations, institute licenses, or custom plans purchased by coaching institutes, schools, or colleges, refund terms will be governed by the specific agreement or order confirmation issued at the time of purchase. In the absence of a specific clause, the general eligibility criteria in Section 2 will apply.
8 Payment Gateway Charges
Where applicable, any non-refundable payment gateway or transaction processing charges levied by the bank or payment provider may be deducted from the refunded amount, and the balance will be credited to you.
